Basic Donor Eligibility Checklist

To ensure a safe and smooth donation experience, please make sure you meet the following general requirements:

• Age: 18–65 years old (16–17 years old permitted with signed parental consent).

• Weight: At least 110 lbs (50 kg).

• Health: In good health, feeling well on the day of donation, and have had adequate rest/sleep (at least 5–6 hours).

• Meals: Eat a healthy meal and drink plenty of water prior to donating. Avoid fatty foods and alcohol 24 hours before your visit.

What to Bring

• A valid photo ID (Government-issued ID, School ID, or Driver’s License)

• A list of any current medications you are taking

• A bottle of water to stay hydrated

FAQ & What to Expect

1. Registration & Health Screening: You'll fill out a brief health history form and undergo a quick wellness check (blood pressure, hemoglobin level).

2. The Donation: The actual collection takes about 8–10 minutes.

3. Rest & Refreshments: Enjoy complimentary snacks and drinks while you rest for 10–15 minutes before heading out!
