Join us as we celebrate the 50th anniversary of our ICS Church community! We invite all songwriters (both seasoned or aspiring) to participate in this Songwriting Contest. This isn't just a contest; it’s an opportunity for you to express your creativity, inspire others through music, and proclaim God's faithfulness to those who will hear it. This year's theme, "Accelerate," challenges you to inspire our community in Christ.

In your song, we want you to explore our anniversary main theme: "Accelerate." You can focus on one or more of these key areas:
God’s Faithfulness
Spiritual and Faith Growth
Mission and Moving Forward in Christ
Hope for the Future
🎼 General Guidelines
For a fair and enjoyable competition, all submissions must follow these guidelines:
Original Work: Your song must be entirely your own. No previously published or recorded songs can participate.
Biblically Sound: Lyrics should align with sound theology and the main theme. Moreover, it should be a song that elevates God's role as we trust Him the future.
Singable & Strong Melody: Create a clear, engaging tune that listeners can easily follow.
Length: Keep your song within 3 to 5 minutes to ensure it captivates the audience.
Language: Primarily in English, your lyrics should convey a strong, accessible message.
Instrumentation: Any arrangement is welcomed, from simple piano or guitar setups to full band performances.
Entries: Each participant or group may submit only one entry. Collaboration with others is encouraged!
Performance: You can perform your song or let someone else present it.

🗓 Important Dates
Mark your calendars! The contest runs from March through June, culminating in a showcase for all participants. The submission deadline is June 30. Don’t miss this opportunity to express your creativity!

Exciting prizes await the top three entries in each category:
🥇 1st Place: ₱5,000
🥈 2nd Place: ₱3,000
🥉 3rd Place: ₱1,500

Ready to get started? Here are practical tips to help you write a song that reflects the theme of "Accelerate":

Write from the Heart: Just a sample thought, how do you see God's mighty hand over ICS as we accelerate to the future? Share your thoughts creatively through music.

Solicit Feedback: Once you have a draft, share it with trusted friends. Their insights can enhance your song.
